"So
Good" is a line from the song Sweet Caroline (good times never
seemed SO GOOD) and the 2 words an audience remembers the most after
Mark's show. One of many interactive parts of the show is Marks
preamble to the song Sweet Caroline. He never fails getting his
audience to sing with him answering the line "Sweet Caroline"
with "Bom, Bom, Bom" and then repeating the words "So Good" 3 times
after he sings "Good times never seemed so good".
Mark currently stuns audiences at least 4 times a week on the
Largest Casino Boat in The World, Sterling and other events covering The King of
Diamonds songs.
The Voice:
...without trying Mark sounds like Neil.
When Mark tries to
sound like Neil,
audience members can close their eyes and take a
trip back in time to 1979.
When they open, they may believe they are
hearing and seeing
Neil Diamond in his prime.
Mark imitates
Neil's "hay day" of the late 70's.
Mark plays a Neil Diamond
signature
SQ-180 Epiphone guitar.
Authentic
costume includes Tux Pants with Sequin,
sequin cumberbund,
and shirts
covered in Sequin and Glass Beaded
Fringe.
Of course Mark
has the authentic Hair Styling and is the onlyNeil
impersonator he knows of with real "wrap around the ears"
sideburns.
Mark uses original
arrangements and backing tracks which mimic the most popular and
powerful versions of Neil's songs.
The Tribute is available as Mark Solo or with a
3 to 6 piece band.
"No one can sound or look
exactly like Neil Diamond except Neil himself. I feel lucky to work
at something I enjoy for a living. One of my greatest rewards is
knowing I've effected someone's emotions, good or bad. If I can
recreate, just for a moment the persona of Neil for an audience
member and it effects them, good or bad, then the years of hard work
I've put into my craft become all worth while.", Mark D.
